Champs!!

This picture was taken the night of our team get together at the Richardson's house. We were all playing the game called spoons and we were all going crazy. We were all fighting over the spoons and yelling. We first played with plastic spoons but we happened to break them all! So we had to get real spoons. We were all playing and someone had picked up one spoon. Taylor and I were the last ones to notice and there was only one spoon left so I grabbed one end and Taylor grabbed the other. She came over the table and tackled me onto the floor. We wrestled for at least 2 minutes trying to get the spoon so we wouldn't be out. After that hard battle I ended up winning the spoon and the game!!! (:

As my cat went walking through the woods he strolls along some raccoons. He decides that he wants to be a raccoon and starts acting like them. He walks like them, does everything they do. He even starts to look like them. As I go looking for him, I see some raccoons in a circle. They are doing some ritual and making my cat a raccoon. After that day my cat is a raccoon forever!! I was so proud to be a mother of a raccoon/ cat!! (:

Continues Butt Scratching!!

It was a cold slow day. My owner hadn't come out to ride me today. I was so bored and I had this rash on my butt. So I decided to figure out a way to scratch it since I can't scratch it with my hooves. I started to drag my butt across the railing. 2 hours have passed and the rash is still itching. As I stop, I realize that there is blood all around the railing. I started yelling, in my horse voice and here comes my owner. Dressed in cinch blue jeans, a button down shirt, and boots. He also has his chaps on. At that point I knew that he was about to come get me out and give me some exercise. I was so excited, but he realized that there was blood dripping from my bottom. He picks up my tail and realizes that I have a rash the size of Tennessee. He goes back into the house and comes back out with this long white tube. He squirts some creamy white contents and rubs it on my rash. Instantly I was relieved from the itching thanks to my owner.

More than Fishing!

My husband Luke is trying to teach Hadlee how to fish! Hadlee is a daddy's girl because she loves to do everything with him, but never with me. As a family we decided to go on a picnic and Luke told Hadlee that he wanted to teach her how to fish. As I am watching them fish and also trying to keep an eye on our other daughter Kadence. I decide to take a photograph of them fishing because I wanted to put it in our scrapbook. Right as I take the photo, they feel something pulling on the end of their rod! As they pull it out of the water Luke realizes that they have caught a trout. Luke tells Hadlee to get a hold of the mouth so I could take a picture of her first fish. As I am taking the picture, Hadlee points behind me. All this time there had been a bobcat watching us the whole time. I screamed bloody murder and Luke runs to his black Chevy. He gets his .243 Remington out of his pickup and points it right at the bobcat. It starts running and he shoots it right in the head! That day we ended up going home with more than a fish. I was so proud of Luke for saving our lives and also Hadlee for catching her first fish ever! I know that is a trip she will never forget because it wasn't just a fishing trip, it was family bonding time! (:
