Goody Girl!!!!!

Dear Santa,
                 Santa I have been really good this year and I still believe in you. I would like a couple of movies whatever you think is good. I also want an ipod player for my car. I really want a television for my room but It's ok if I don't get it. I want my parents and all of my family to have a happy and nice white Christmas. I really really want a North Face Jacket in black. You know I will leave cookies for you and milk. Hope you have a great Christmas too.

Are you willing to be Safe?

I hate airplanes so I think it is a good idea to pat and scan people to see if they have any weapons. Some people worry and don' t like it when you have to get scanned because they think that the people are taking pictures of there body. Are they? But also don't like it how they feel up on you and every body part almost. Airports are trying to find a system that helps them become safer so more people will fly. It is really peoples opinions.

1. On Thanksgiving I will be in Wichita Falls because we are playing in a basketball tournament. We are leaving Thursday but I will also have Thanksgiving at my grandparents (Elmer and Carolyn) house at lunch. We had Thanksgiving at my other grandma's(Mary Lou) house with my cousin because they live in McKinney and they are out of school. My sister is also going to be there with her boyfriend but she comes down every week. Kill me now.

A BAD Habit!

Smoking is a very bad habit. Some people know what it is doing to them but they really don't care. If you decided to put pictures up in a store of what cigarettes do to your body do you think people would stop? I don't think so because people know what is happening but they can't stop. Some kids do it because they think they are invisible and they want to be cool. Others just do it because they see others doing it. I know what it is like to have someone smoke in your family. My aunt use to do it and she would always say she was going to stop. Every time I would see her I would ask her and she would say I try but it is so hard. I should have never started. It took her a while to learn to break her habit but she did it. It has made her life so much easier. Buying a pack of cigarettes cost so much money, so think if you quit, then you would have a lot of money they you never knew you had.

Nutrients?

One of the reasons they are banning toys from the meal is kids beg their parents to go and get the toy. The only way they can get the toy is to get the meal too. Yes, because when you get food from a fast food place there is usually not any nutrients. It is just greasy fat food and has a low nutrients value. Instead of having food that is fatty, put some nutrients in some of the meals and still have a cute, lovable toy. You are required to have 600 calories to be able to put a toy in the meal. They also give you an option to substitute fries for fruit.

Chicken Fried Steak!!!!!! YUMMY!!!!

I really don't have a favorite food but if I had to pick it would be chicken fried steak. Homemade chicken fried steak is the best but I'll eat any kind. The creamy white gravy on top and green beans on the side is one of the best meals. You can also throw in mash potatoes with gravy. It's hard to pick for me because I like everything and I'm not picky.

Illusion!!!

Back in the 1920's they didn't have cell phones. People had to use their house phones because they don't have cell phones but in this video I saw a women was walking down the street. What was weird is that she was holding something up to her ear and was talking to it. At first I just thought it was a cell phone but when I figured out that they didn't have cell phones back then I got confused. I thought about it and came to my conclusion that someone had to edit the video to make it look like that. There was no way that she would have service either. It's funny how only one person would have a cell phone.

Pretty but Fast!

If I could be any animal in the world I would be a cheetah. They don't have to hide from any predators and never starve. They eat zebras which is "Mikala" and are as fast as lightening. They mate with tigers which are very pretty with their stripes. Their babies start to follow them about 6 weeks old until they are 2 years old. They eat what their mother kills for them. When they run they look like they are gliding in the air.

Darling

I named my penguin  Darling because it is so precious and it is another word for cute which it is. They are so fluffy and i bet sweet.

Safety First!

Everyday in elementary we would go out to the playground and tried to make our dreams real. We wanted to be cheerleaders and so we lifted up Taylor while cheering. Everyday was the same routine but one day we went up to fast and Taylor hit the ground. We all looked in shock and started saying we are so sorry. Taylor got up and wiped the dirt off of her and we did it again. Ever since then we have watched what we do and we are careful.

Open your Eyes Everyday and See Whats Right In Front of You!

After my family found out that I was trapped I knew there reaction. I knew they were sad and scared and so was I. I wondered day and night how long it would take them to get us out. There were four things that I really wanted with me. My ipod so I could listen to music to pass time. I also wanted a photo of my family in case I didn't survive I could see them just one last time. My basketball so I could play basketball and never forget my favorite sport and food. I prayed every day and night hoping they would get to us in time. It got really boring every day just sitting down there with a lot of guys. After a while they found out how to send a tube down and stuff could come down in it. They put a camera in it and sent it down. We set it up and we all got to see our families. I cried so hard because I was so happy to see my family. I love them so much and I know they love me. They also sent food and water. To stay in shape they put a trainer on the camera and he helped us stay in shape. We had a group while we were down there where you could talk about your feelings so no one would go crazy.

Courage is the Strength to face Danger!

OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG! My eyes were as big as a hippo. I looked over at my mom and clenched onto her hand. I knew she was scared to but she didn't show it. I knew God was going to keep everyone safe. I prayed like crazy just telling him to keep us safe. I looked out the window and saw sparks flying everywhere like crazy. I looked at the flight attendant and she started yelling " Get down and duck your head." The rows of the plane was filled up with everyone laying in the floor and crying hard. We started to slow down and came to a halt. Everyone jumped up and down. I hugged my mom and said "I love you so much." She said the same thing. As we started to exit the plane the captain came out and everyone cheered for him and shook his hand. He was probably the bravest person in the plane and the toughest. Being on the near death experience was the most scariest thing that has ever happened but I survived.

The Roaring Twenties

In the mid-1920's jazz was becoming to be played in halls and country houses everywhere in the country. Jazz was the form of popular concert music. It was also considered the devil music in the early years. Jazz gained popularity in America and worldwide in the 1920's. Nothing quite like it had ever happened in America.

Hot Times!

Sweat running down my face while I'm telling my parents to hurry up or the beach will be full. As the  cold water touches my body, chills run up my spine. The water is so blue and clear. It is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen. As my mom yells " Be careful," I get hit with a massive impact. It was my dog Riley. He is a chocolate lab and is huge. As I looked up there was the most amazing guy ever. He was muscled up and had abs. His eyes were as blue as the ocean. As he helped me up I said "Thank you." He said "What's your name?" I said "Ashley," and he said mine is "Luke." As we started to pull out of the drive way Luke waved goodbye and so did I. I told my parents thanks for bringing me. Those were the most perfect days ever.
